Shinobu sword is a replica of Kochou Shinobu Stinger Nichirin Katana. Shinobu uses a heavily modified Nichirin Blade, it is the same as any katana from the handle to slightly above the tsuba, but above that, the weapon loses its blade and is replaced by a rod. It ends in a needle-like tip, resembling an insect's stinger. The "stinger" is designed for injection of Wisteria poisons into Demons. Shinobu's katana's tsuba is designed to bear resemblance to a four-petaled flower, trimmed with orange.
My grandson loves the katana! We just ordered a display holder for it. He plans on using it in his stop motions and just enjoy showing it off on his wall.
