For about 150 bucks, the quality of the sword is pretty good for it's price. However, it is pretty tip heavy, and the scabbard's interior was pretty dirty, with pieces of dark stuff being of my sword each time I draw it. I'm not sure if this was rushed, but just something to watch out for.

The sword is beautiful. I bought two swords on Amazon and they both broke within a week. My son (who is into Katana Swords) was devastated. This sword is built so much better and it’s very sleek. He’s only 6 so he’s not allowed to touch it without Mommy or Daddy right next to him. I’m teaching him to respect the sword and to understand it’s a very powerful weapon. We love it. The wakizashi is similar to the katana but shorter in length. The average Wakizashi is about 50 cm long and was usually worn together with the katana by the Samurai of feudal Japan. When worn together the pair of swords was called Daish, which translates to large and small. This sword acted like a side weapon and was worn by the Samurai at all times.
