The Wado Ichimonji is a sword of great personal importance to Roronoa Zoro, and it once belonged to Kuina and her family. It is also one of the 21 Great Grade swords. After Kuina's death, Zoro asked for it from her father, who then gave the sword to him.
Wado Ichimonji is another blade that Zoro already carries. Like Enma, this blade was crafted by a man named Shimotsuki Kouzaburou. Since all the blades can be transformed into black blades, Wado Ichimonji is no exception.
Once it blackens, it will turn into a completely new sword for Zoro to use that is much stronger than the ones he's used to date. It will also become one of the Saijo O Wazamono grade swords.
I've ordered 6 swords from Truekatana. This picture represents a Chinese Straight Sword and Chinese Broadsword I purchsed. I'm not a metalurgist, forgemaster or swordmaster. I learned a little Shao lin and wu shu broadsword in my youth, but that's about it. All that said these swords are truly functional, beautifully balanced and of exquisite workmanship. Besides being weapons they are beautiful works of art. I like to collect swords of all types and these two are among the most expensive I've bought, both being in the $1000 range. They are also, by far, the nicest.
I've also bought two katanas and two wakizashi. Though I did not venture into the same price range, they are truly viable weapons and beautiful art pieces.

Great sword, really love the purple color on the handle of the sword. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that when unsheathing it, the sword keeps picking up stuff and dirtying the sword.

I admittedly bought this sword and its shorter companion with the intention of cannibalizing their koshirae to be put on another blade, so I wasn't particularly concerned with the utility of the sword. However, I'll admit that when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by it. The construction seems pretty tight, the blade while flat ground and through tempered has a pretty good geometry and feels solid. For the money I gotta say this is a really good buy.

But as soon as you take this sword, which we often see on TV screens, out of its sheath, you understand that the master blacksmith not only worked on it for many days but also put a bit of his soul into his work, which seriously lets you know the weight and shine of the manganese steel, playing with the rays of the afternoon sun.

Nice, solid, hefty Tanto short sword. Seems to be well-built and includes a wooden sheath. The top of the edge near the tip is sharp, although; the further you go down the edge the less sharp it becomes. Not a bad sword for the price and steel used.
