Prices of all products are subject to change at any time, but our customers will be notified of any changes.

1.       For orders of 1000,00 euros or less, unless given special consideration by BOKKENDO, 100% payment is due prior to processing your order.

2.       For orders of more than 1000,00 euros  at least 50% payment is due prior to processing your order. 100% payment is due prior to shipment of your order.

PRODUCTION TIME
All weapons are handcrafted from scratch and custom-made-to-order. Therefore, please allow from 5 to 10 weeks, depending on the weapon-type, of production time. It is important not to rush the production of these weapons, as the production process is carefully timed to prevent cracking, warping and any other potential damage to your weapon(s) due to climate changes.

WARRANTY/RETURN-REFUND POLICY
Please note that although tropical hardwoods are  highly regarded in terms of overall stability, strength, density and hardness, it is still wood and, therefore, subject to rare cases of warping, fractures or cracks. If your weapons are properly used against other wooden weapons and for training purposes only, then they should last you many, many years, and likely, a lifetime. Even still, wood is wood, so all weapons are subject to a 3-MONTH (90-Day) GUARANTEE. Under this policy, it is the customer's responsibility to contact BOKKENDO no more than 90-days upon receipt of order, determined by our tracking records. Within this time frame, if there is customer dissatisfaction due to cracking or severe warping from climate changes, then BOKKENDO will first evaluate your case prior to replacement of any weapon(s). You will be REQUIRED to provide photographs of several angles of the damaged weapon(s), including a close-up of the damaged area before your case can be evaluated. In special cases, the weapon will be asked to be returned to BOKKENDO for evaluation, and shipping expenses will be covered completely by BOKKENDO.

Warranty details

Although tropical woods  are  one of the  densest woods in the world, wood is still wood, and depending on usage, will fracture or
crack eventually, just like any other kind of wood. As long as you use your weapon normally (meaning you use it on other wooden weapons in regular practice, and not on steel, concrete, etc.), these weapons will last you many years.
However, if the wood severely warps or cracks due to climate changes within 90 days of your receipt (based on Fedex ,UPS,or other postal  tracking), we will replace your weapon free of charge. You will be required to send a few photos of the damage of your weapon, one close up, one at regular zoom, and perhaps another of a different angle,before we can send you the replacement (shipping and handling will be covered by us as well). 

Please expect slight warping in the Jo and Bo. Like the other weapons, we only replace warping in these items if they are severely warped.

All customers are with the understanding that BOKKENDO  is not, in any way, responsible for damages and injuries caused by our products, and all products, although made of wood and dulled for safety, are still considered weapons with potentially dangerous effects. It is the complete responsibility of the person(s) who has made the purchase to ensure proper use, and to abide by conduct necessary to maintain a safe environment for himself/herself and others involved in the use of the weapon(s). All customers, prior to purchasing, are required to be at least 18-years-of-age, and in the case where this rule is not followed, BOKKENDO cannot be held accountable.
